Cats are wonderful friends and companions and are a lot of fun to have around.
When people visit they shouldn’t know that we have cats because of the cat odor (cat pee) in our home.
Understanding How To Train a cat or change cat behaviour is as simple as learning to understand how a cat thinks.
To get the behavior you want, you really need to be able to get inside of the head or psyche of your cat. When you begin to understand how your cat thinks (it’s different for dogs) then you begin to understand why they do what they do and act like they act.
Once you understand their natural instincts, which by the way is something you can’t change, then instead of trying to stifle their natural instincts, you’ll respect them and use your new knowledge to your advantage.
Wouldn’t you love to have the cat secrets that most don’t have a clue about?
You see, the sad part is that a lot of cats are euthanized each day because of cat behavior problems that could have been easily solved with the right information.
Many marriages end in divorce because of a cats ability to try our patience. That shouldn’t be the case with the proper knowledge.
Bottom line… The real problem is us – the owners.
Before we worry about training our cat we need the proper training on how to train our cats in a way that is best for us and our kitty.
The truth of the matter is that we as cat owners are responsible to provide for and care for our little furry friends.
How many cats suffer needlessly because of an irresponsible owner?
I don’t know about you, but it makes my blood boil when I hear about an animal that is being mistreated or mishandled. Or what about the ones that don’t have a decent meal or fresh water available? Or they need medical attention and it’s not being provided.
People that don’t take ownership responsibly shouldn’t be allowed to own cats or any other animal for that matter.
Then there are the cat owners (and this includes most of us) that do care but we lack the knowledge that we need to be able to have the best possible experience for our cat and for us.
Obviously, you wouldn’t be reading this if you didn’t care. Your one of the treasures that truly want to learn all you can about cats so you can be a blessing to them and at the same time not pull your hair out in frustration due to bad cat behavior.
